Defeat The RINOs

August 5, 2009 Look for updates**

Today was get a haircut day. I was telling my stylist about my difficulty selling ads for our new product because business owners were pessimistic about what costs might be facing them for health care, cap and trade, another stimulus, etc. Admittedly, I was trying to sell to businesses in a predominately conservative area.

Another patron at the salon heard me and laughed. She then went on to comment on her conservative feelings and fears about all of Obama's Utopian schemes. She and her husband are small business owners themselves. We talked on and on and I knew I had to get back to this blog.

Personal and business obligations have prevented me from posting in the last month. I've spent a good deal of time consistently emailing and calling members of the House of Representatives about HR 5200, otherwise known as Obamacare. (More on this below.)

As the representatives headed back home and held town hall meetings to spread Obamanation's propaganda about this unintelligible, 1,018 page piece of Socialistic dung, something happened on the way to the forum! Those patriotic Americans who do not wish to have our country and freedoms taken away and replaced with The One's vision
of 1984 finally had had enough. And they let it be known.

Remember this? So am I!!!

During the Revolution, Thomas Jefferson saw the more the people were discontented with the oppression of high taxes, the greater the need for the King to have money to pay the troops who were to suppress all resistance, thus enabling him to plunder at pleasure and distribute to his partisons.

It was then that Jefferson said, "Let our countrymen know that we the people alone can protect us against these evils of misgovernment."

Yes, We The People must protect our country! I urge you to call, email and write not only your congressmen, but all Democrat congressmen and especially the blue dogs.

she answer the phone when her constituents call? Nope,
not Shelley Berkley D-NV. She was one I called to urge a
no vote on Obamacare and what you see above is what I
heard.

If I was one of her constituents, I'd be steaming! But then
again, it shows the arrogance of these liberal politicians to
whom their constituents' opinions do not matter.

Just back from the Cape Coral Freedom Rally. Great event -- standing room only -- and I'd estimate 350 to 400 there. A great turnout considering Mary and Rod, the organizers, got zero cooperation from local media with the exception of Mandy O'Connell, local conservative radio talk show host. And shortly before the rally weather radar showed a huge line of Tstorms headed our way. Fortunately, it did not rain and the cloud coverwas appreciated here in the middle of summer.

What Obama Really Inherited from George Bush

Eight years ago, President George Bush was waiting to receive intelligence information

on terrorism from the Clinton administration. That's right, this information was never delivered to Secretary of State Condoleza Rice until mid July. We all know what happened less than two months later -- 9/11.

Subsequently, President Bush established legislation requiring any outgoing president to provide, at once, access to all information which the incoming president might want or need. Indeed, Barry and Joey were at the White House to begin this process the day after his inauguration.

Now Barry says he didn't know about state of economy, Afghanistan and so many other things. Six months later he is still blaming Pres. Bush. Get a grip! You own it now, dip shit.

The $3.5 billion vote

When House Democratic leaders were rounding up votes Friday for the massive climate-change bill, they paid special attention to their colleagues from Ohio who remained stubbornly undecided.

They finally secured the vote of one Ohioan, veteran Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Toledo, the old-fashioned way. They gave her what she wanted – a new federal power authority, similar to Washington state’s Bonneville Power Administration, stocked with up to $3.5 billion in taxpayer money available for lending to renewable energy and economic development projects in Ohio and other Midwestern states.

House Energy and Commerce Chairman Henry A. Waxman, California Democrat, included the Kaptur project in a 310-page amendment to the legislation unveiled at 3 a.m. Friday, just hours before the bill was to be debated on the House floor. The amendment was packed with other vote-getting provisions, both large and small, that had been sought by dozens of wavering Democrats.

Business as usual for the libs.

This is bad enough... but now he's got the dog doing it!

Transparency pretty opaque in DC

House Speaker San Fran Nan Pelosi will not give the public a week to review the final text of the health-care reform bill before it is voted on later this year.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) has also declined to commit to giving the public a week to read and consider the final Senate version of the health-care bill.

WHY NOT? Why don't they want us to read what could be mandated for us if this passes? We know Obama thinks nothing of throwing his Granny under the bus but he's not going to mess with this one! It's bad enough our elected officials don't read the bills before they vote. Remember, they govern at our will so let us make our will known!

** Update

OK, I was wrong. Like many Americans, I thought Obamanation pledged to give us five days to read the bills. Oh, yes, he did. But when they reached his desk and before he signed them. So that means they already passed the House and Senate.

Of course, he has not kept his word on that, just as he did not line item veto the 9,000 pork items in the omnibus spending bill. Surprise, surprise. Liar, liar, pants on fire! Hope they are those girly jeans he wore at the baseball game. And can you believe he took credit for the White Sox win recently saying it was because he wore the jacket? Oh, it never, ever ends. Me, me, me. But, no, it's not about me!

As my fellow haircut needer today said, "How did we ever get here?"

Unfortunately, this says it all!

A couple of days after the Tax Day Tea Party, I hit the wall. Hard.

I don't know what it was. Maybe all of Obama's lies and blaming everything on the Bush administration. Maybe his fanatical rush to get all his socialist, Marxist schemes passed. Maybe the main stream media's lies and distortions. Maybe the Republicans left up there on the hill acting like they have no cajones at all, with few exceptions. Maybe the ongoing polls showing the American people don't like Obama's policies and plans but still giving him favorable ratings. Maybe it is Michelle's big butt.

All I know is one morning I woke up and I couldn't stand to read Drudge or Michelle and certainly not Newsbusters.org. I couldn't turn on the radio and listen to Beck, or Rush, or Levin.

Then on Friday, June 26, the House of Representatives voted in Crap and Tax with the
aid of 8 Republican traitors -- one the wife of my representative to whom I had just made a sizable donation.

I'm adding these Tr8tors to my hit list and the RINO Hall of Shame.

Crap and Tax will amount to the largest tax levy in the history of the world! But it's not about the environment, global warming or anything other than government control over every aspect of our lives. And Gore, Pelosi and others making oodles of money.
